What’s Thermal Imaging?
Thermal Imaging, or Infrared Thermography, is a noncontact technology that measures or “sees” infrared wavelengths emitted from objects, and then converts the temperature information into an image. In the image you can see different temperatures in different colors. Hot spots or a rise in temperature often indicate problems or potential failure.
Why Do I Need It?
Thermal Imaging can be used to investigate problems in your building, such as water leakages, air leakages, insufficient insulation, bad electrical connections etc. The Thermal Imaging sees what you don’t see – without physical contact, without breaking the structures!
